Stephen Farrant, Director
Stephen joined IBLF as Director of the International Tourism Partnership in March 2009. Prior to this, he spent 18 months working for a tourism consultancy specialising in destination marketing, strategy and sustainable tourism. Stephen has worked in senior front-line roles at British Airways including National Sales and Marketing, Revenue Management, Customer Services, Operations, and Strategy and Alliances. Following this, he began a nine-year stint at VisitBritain, progressing from Business Planning Manager to Head of Partnerships to General Manager, Quality. During his time at VisitBritain Steve also led specific, organisation-wide projects focusing on CRM and branding.
In early 2006, he took up a new role as Director of Membership and Marketing at the RSA, where he was closely involved in their 'Carbon Limited' project. Steve is a member of the UK Sustainable Development Commission’s Advisory Panel. He has recently completed a post-graduate qualification in Business Coaching at the Henley Business School and is a governor of a junior school.
